Overview

JThe primary role of the Claims Administrator is to support the Operations and Safety groups with Claims and Training support. The objectives are to facilitate timely resolution for claims and maintain accurate regulatory and skill training records. Working with assigned locations the Safety Administrator will receive and input employee, property damage & vehicle incidents into the company database software, DoneSafe. The Safety Administrator will liaison with the Marsh Claims Adjusters and provide updates on Auto and Property Damage Claims. Additionally, the Safety Administrator will record training records into DoneSafe, publish weekly/monthly reporting to ensure accuracy of employee training records and at-risk behaviors are recorded.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsabilities:

 

· Enter employee, damage, vehicle incidents and other reporting for assigned locations into DoneSafe

· Follow-up on missing information with Safety and or location personnel

· Manage damage, vehicle claims escalations.

· Ensure recordability, restrictions, days away are updated and accurate by Safety

· Maintain relationships between company and outside agencies such as Insurance Adjusters, Safety, Human Resources, Fleet, Finance and field offices/leadership

· Prepare and present reports summarizing vehicle, utility hits, damages, injuries and near misses

· Ensure post-incident investigations are completed by Safety

· Enter New Hire, Awareness and Regulatory Training Records into the DoneSafe LMS system

· Prepare and publish reports summarizing New Hire, Renewable, Training and other related records

· Support DoneSafe as needed.

 

 

Secondary Responsabilities:

· Support the Safety Manager and Market Leadership

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Valid US Drivers license
  • Ability to carry out assigned projects to their completion with minimal supervision

  • Ability to work independently with a multitude of tasks

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form

  • Highly organized person and can show planning and processes to support daily work

  • Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality

  • Working knowledge of insurance industry

  • Must pass UI Test (urinalysis)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Outlook, Excel, Word, Etc…

  • Oral presentation skills and ability

  • Positive people skills and pleasant demeanor

  • Punctual & dependable
